The Candidate will perform Desktop and Help Desk support for the Iowa Department of Public Health Information Management Bureau.
The candidate will provide tier one help desk support with technical issues via phone, email and ticketing system. They will also provide network support for all users, this will include, but is not limited to, setting up new desktops/laptops. The Candidate will be provided trainings to staff on various software and computer hardware as needed. The Candidate will update Inventory of electronic equipment as needed. They will need to exercise sound judgment and escalate service requests and incidents as needed. Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Approximately 25% of the department work offsite, Candidate must be proficient in working over the phone with users. The Department uses Google G-Suite, along with many of the Adobe products, a Candidate with knowledge in both areas would be an asset.
